John Greer
John Greer DNP, CRNA – Owner and Operator of Prime Anesthesia Services. John earned a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from LSUHSC, worked as an ICU nurse in the Ochsner Hospital System and continued his post graduate education at LSUHSC. John earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a research focus of intravascular fluid volume dynamics in the super morbid obese population. He graduated from CRNA school in 2016 and worked in the New Orleans, Northshore, and Baton Rouge areas. During John’s time in the Ochsner Health System, he was a member of the Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia team, and the Student Development Committee.
Lance Morello
Lance Morello DNP, CRNA – Owner and Operator of Prime Anesthesia Services. Lance earned a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from LSUHSC, worked as an ICU nurse in the Charity Hospital System and continued his post graduate education at LSUHSC. Lance earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a research focus of Intra-operative Mechanical Ventilation. He graduated from CRNA school in 2017 and works, primarily, in the New Orleans area. Lance has performed anesthesia in different capacities both as a full-time CRNA and as a self employed business owner.
Both providers take pride in treating each patient as one of their own family members. The team at Prime Anesthesia Services uses a patient safety and comfort driven model. We work closely with dental providers to balance anesthesia tailored to each patient and procedure.
In their spare time, John and Lance are directors of a philanthropy bbq team named Piglit. The team raises money for pediatric brain cancer through the Hogs for the Cause foundation. The team has raised tens of thousands of dollars to offset financial hardships incurred by the families, and ultimately hope to develop a cure for children affected by pediatric brain cancer. They host several events each year including a golf tournament, cookouts, and are participants in the Hogs for The Cause Festival in New Orleans.
